Nars’ spring 2010 assortment exudes elegance and style with a versatile colour palette made up of scorching pinks, electrical sky blue, lilac and rose gold. Produced and photographed by François Nars, the Nars Spring 2010 make-up is “assured, cosmopolitan and polished.”
Featuring supermodel Amber Valletta, the appear is glamorous and sophisticated with image ideal skin and contoured cheekbones. The eyes light up in delicate rose gold tones although lips are injected with a dose of pink for a sheer glossy end.
The colours
Inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s role as Lucille in La Chamade, the colours are light, attractive and stylish. Nars stated: “The shades are delicate, attractive and light – like springtime. The formulas are transparent, so they permit the skin to appear organic and refreshing.” Light tones of nude, pink and peach are important for the lips, although hints of purple are important for eyes and nails.
