@xsammieS2 haha it’s all good. but yeah i’ve finally tried it and it’s pretty good, but i still had to clean up leftover eye makeup. so since it really hasn’t saved me a step then i find it not THAT much better than some others i’ve tried. thank you anyway for your advice!
@sister6of9charity oh sorry. haha, but yyeah i agree with you when you say purity should be able to cleanse and remove makeup. ive used it, and though gentle, its not as targeted for sensitive skin as people claim, and you would expect for the price and for the hype its gotten, it would cleanse and remove makeup all at the same time. i was mislead by your comment. sorry(:
@xsammieS2 i know this. i use face wipes because the cleansers i use do not remove makeup well. but the way purity is so hyped up to be something that can save you time by removing all makeup and cleanse, only to leave your normal makeup routine unchanged.
@sister6of9charity well actually, even if a cleanser, no matter how good, does remove makeup, its not actually washing your skin. think of makeup as an extra layer. when you first wash your face, it just cleanses off the makeup layer, and you need to cleanse once more to actually cleanse your skin. the wipes simply save product, save time and energy in case you’re too lazy to wash your face, and are just more convenient.
so the fact that you use facial wipes to remove makeup leads me to assume that the one step cleanser by philosophy doesn’t work as well as it says.

I went to 3 different superstores and it wasn’t in the ethnic hair care isle… I’m so sad! =( I did see Queen Helene cocoa butter at all the locations but no mint julep mask… I even checked the tags to make sure they weren’t all out. Maybe it’s a western canada thing, they deprive us of good products!!! =(
There’s no point wasting loads of money on skincare if U smoke, don’t drink plenty of water and don’t eat a healthy balanced diet. Also if U binge drink and have to much caffeine. It might improve it a bit but U will never have great skin!
